My name is Holly Schnars. I have been married for 22 years to Steve Schnars. We have been together for 25 years and better than ever. We have 4 beautiful children, Megan, Kyle, Jessica and Matthew. My children range from 24-18years of age. Steve and I are from Minnesota, we moved closer to my family in Oklahoma 22 years ago. We now live in Claremore, Oklahoma. My Husband works in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for a Natural Gas company. He has been with this company for 17 years going strong. I worked in health care on the weekends a few years, while my children were tiny. I then went to Daycare for a total of 10 years. I opened a Home Daycare and worked from home for 3 years before the world dealt me a new hand. I became an Amputee in 2015. What does this mean for me?? I had a very hard road to travel, and by the grace of God I was successful in my journey. My husband was by my side through it all, I was in the hospital for months and he slept there every night and went to work and checked on the kids at the house before coming back to hospital. My oldest daughter was 18 at the time so she made sure the kids got on the bus for school. This was the second hardest time for our family. I came home from hospital in 2016 and life was hard and I wasn't happy. How do you go back to being a wife and mother? I didn't know how to jump back in to my life. People staring and not being able to leave the house by myself. My husband would come home daily and force me out of the house. Steve and I would go anywhere that I had to get out and do things. While being at home, I wondered what I could do to feel like I had something of my own to feel like I am accomplishing at life. We decided to become hobby breeders. I was home and had plenty of time to raise puppies. I started to research dog breeding because my mother was breeding French bulldogs. I love huskies and then I ran across a Pomsky and I was hooked. It took me one year to gather enough information and get the funds to buy our first two Huskies. We had met a few breeder friends along the way. We got our first huskies and it didn't go as planned the first two tries at breeding. We have been blessed to provide puppies for families all over the United States.
